I'm Michelle Thompson, a Mixed Media Artist, and I'm delighted to welcome you to my online studio. People often inquire about my painting journey, and while I'm self-taught up to this point, I don't claim all the credit.

 

Firstly, as the daughter of the King, I believe in Him as the creator of all things, revealing the inherent creativity within each of us.

 

Secondly, I've been fortunate to learn from many talented artists who generously shared their techniques through online videos and other platforms, allowing me to interpret their ideas into something new, making it my own. Presently, I am thrilled to announce my enrollment at the Milan Art Institute, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in my artistic journey. I look forward to discovering the profound impact this experience will have on my artistry.

Lastly, the key is to embrace courage, trying new things without getting discouraged if they don't immediately succeed. After all, it's just canvas, paint, and other materials – nothing that will alter the course of the world if I need to start anew or make another attempt!

 

Being an artist is about summoning courage. I craft pieces that emanate from my heart, holding personal significance, and present them online and at art shows, hoping others resonate with them as much as I did while creating.

 

I revel in positive, fun, offbeat, and encouraging images and sentiments, infusing my style with whimsy and diverse color choices. The spontaneity of my creations is guided by what drops into my heart at any given moment. I have a deep passion for painting florals and butterflies. To me, they symbolize new growth, the journey to different levels, adaptability, and beauty. More importantly, they serve as a poignant reminder of how God perceives us.
